Ingredients
1/2 cup split peas
1/2 yellow onion
3 garlic cloves
salt salt
grind peppercorn
dry cilantro
curry
1.Boil 1/2 cup split peas in 1 cup water until soft. Make sure that water just covers split peas, and more water if needed.
2. Add chopped 1/2 yellow onion, 3 chopped cloves garlic, 1/2 teaspoon dry cilantro, 1 teaspoon grated ginger, 1 teaspoon curry.
3. Add 1-2 large potatoes chopped up into cubes.
Add salt and peppercorn for taste.
4. Cover and reduce to low heat for 25 mins or until potatoes are cooked.
